Nokia finally announced the affordable Smartphone named Nokia Asha 501. Nokia Asha 501 was announced on 9th May 2013 in New Delhi, India. The Nokia Asha 501 is the first device in the New Asha’s Family which runs on the new Asha platform. This Asha Platform is designed to make the experience faster and more responsive.
Nokia Asha 501 is outfitted with 3-inch QVGA TFT capacitive display with a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and with a pixel density of 133 ppi. The dimension of this device is 99.2 x 58 x 12.1 mm. This device weighs about 98.2 grams.
Nokia Asha 501 comes with 3.15 mega-pixel rare camera with a image resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. There is no secondary camera in it. This device comes with 128 MB internal memory and with 64 MB of RAM in it. 4 GB MicroSD card is included in this device and you can also expand your storage capacity via MicroSD card up to 32 GB.

The Price of New Nokia Asha 501 is $99 before taxes and subsidies. This device is expected to be available through approximately 60 operators and distributors in more than 90 countries worldwide. This device is expected to start available from June 2013.
