HTC Officially Announced HTC Desire U in Taiwan

Many Mobile Manufactures are coming up with their new smartphones and HTC the most popular brand also came up with their new smartphone named HTC Desire U. HTC officially announced HTC Desire U on 25th January 2013 in Taiwan. This is the new budget-friendly and mid-range android device targeted the Taiwanese mobile market.

HTC Desire U is powered with 1 GHz Processor and with 512MB of Ram. This device comes with 4.0-inch Super LCD capacitive touch screen of 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It brings you the broader visual experience and you can easily adjust the text size where you can use the phone more comfortably.

This device comes with a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and you can record WVGA high resolution images and videos. There is no secondary camera in it so you cannot make use of 3G video calls.

HTC Desire U comes with 4 GB of Internal memory storage and with an expandable Micro SD slot upto 32 GB Memory. This device packs with 1650 mAh battery. The weight of this device is 119 grams (with battery). This device supports 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX enabled, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b / g / n, and Micro-USB 2.0 5-pin port.

Adjust the perfect sound quality by Beats Audio where it support the various types of media, whether you watch movies, listen music, or play games, you can enjoy delicate and clear listening experience. HTC Desire U Supports the following audio formats mp3,.wav, .wma, .ogg, .aac, .amr and also the following video formats .avi (MP4 the ASP and MP3), .wmv (Windows Media Video 9), H.263, H.264 mp4, Recordings : mp4, H.263.

This Device runs on Android 4.0 i.e. Ice Cream Sandwich version with HTC Sense User Interface. We can say that this the main disadvantage of this device which will surely disappoint the android lovers because the already latest version of android is out i.e. Android Jelly Bean.

HTC Desire U is available in a variety of colors like White, Black, and Orange. The Expected price of HTC Desire U is around $275 and this device will be available in the Taiwan market from the First Quarter of 2013. There is no complete information whether HTC plans to launch HTC Desire U in India or in other markets worldwide or not.

    Sai Kumar People are fan of Apple devices and gadgets but my personal favorite mobile company is HTC.

  7. Although it has number of features, sad thing to point out is we cannot make 3G video calls using it. I wish they will enable it if they launch it in India.
