As everybody knows the next version of Android is Jelly bean. Google Officially Announced the Launch of Android 4.1 Jelly bean on 27th June 2012. This is the major update in the Smartphone OS’s history. This New Version includes many number of new exciting Features.
Features of Android 4.1 Jelly bean :
New User Interface :
Android 4.1 Jelly bean comes with a New User Interface. It comes with the new way of managing widgets on the screen. Such as widgets will resize itself on the home screen which saving users the trouble of moving the screens for the particular app.
Notification System :
Here another update is Notification System. Google had made some changes that to make notifications more handy. For example if you get a missed call you can directly call from the notifications bar, no need to move to phone app to call. You also get Google + notifications in notifications bar and you can +1 and share the post there itself without opening the app.
Offline Voice Typing :
Another feature is Offline Voice Typing. This basically allow android user to write messages with their voice without in need of Internet connection. This is basically launched for US English but Google will expand to other languages. Google also added 18 more languages such as Hindi, Persian, and etc.
Improved Camera :
The other feature is improved camera for fast viewing and also allows user to view photos and videos in the same frame. This allows user to share the photos just by tapping of Android Phones with NFC capabilities.
Google Now :
The Last Feature is Google Now. This feature makes you smarter by just providing the information based on your search history, Calendar remainders, and will also learn your schedule. It notifies the flight timings and the bus timings, and also informs us when to leave and etc. This Feature is included with Google Search also. In one Word we can say that Google Now will help us to find right things at the right time.
Availability of Android 4.1 Jelly bean :
This Android 4.1 Jelly bean will be available for some selected devices Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and the Motorola Xoom which starts in mid-July. But the developers can play with Jelly Bean SDK today itself.
